Earlier this month at SYMC I had a few people ask me about my bag so I thought I would share about it and it’s contents. I love looking through people things…that just sounded creepy, but I mean it in the most appropriation way…It is a source of inspiration and gaining ideas, I am an idea junkie. I have been serving in youth ministry for nearly 20 years, am currently the Director of Student Ministries at Valley Church in Des Moines, IA, and am on a first name basis with several Best Buy employees. My wife Keri and I have been married over ten years and have three great boys. My four favorite things are Jesus, my wife, Chicago Style Pizza, and fighting off our boys with sweet ninja moves.

I have a outdoor products morph backpack….it’s pretty terrible!!!
Sharpies and dry erase pens…. Done…okay throw in the laptop, an iPad etc. but dry erase pens aren’t just for the “board room”. I have no shame when it comes to a brain dump on a Starbucks or Panera window. It has looked like a bird hit the window. Windows plus dry erase pens equal ideas, collaboration and a visual help. Besides everyone thinks your the guy from the movie A Beautiful Mind until they see the guberish youve written. Lol
I currently use a Targus backpack I got for College 8 years ago. It has served me well but it’s about time to send it out to pasture.
