I read a really cool post about tweet popularity on the New York Times website. When someone from Twitter headquarters tried to find out why some tweets are more popular than others he was surprised at what he found. The most popular tweets were not Bieber Tweets or Gaga Tweets, they weren’t Tweets from movie stars or sports figures. This guy found that the Tweets that soar through the twittersphere most are messages from Christian leaders.
